The South Dakota Timed Event Championship is a two day youth timed event rodeo, where the area’s toughest rodeo competitors compete for a prestigious title and significant awards. Over 100 contestants and their families traveled from as far as Texas and North Dakota to vie for the Championship title. Jason Edleman and Steven Bircholtz, producers of the event, both agreed that this year’s event was equally successful as last years.

For his SD Timed Event Championship win, Packer took him a new Featherlite horse trailer, donated in part by Iverson Featherlite of Mitchell, SD. In addition to his Timed Event Championship victory, he and Cody Packer also took home the Team Roping Championship saddle.
